We have just returned from Qingxi village along the ancient Tea Horse Road in the mountains of Sichuan, where the most prized and fragrant Sichuan pepper is harvested for a few short weeks every year. It is amazing what a difference terroir and microclimates make in the intensity and flavor of huajiao, and how that translates to the plate and your palate.
This month, our Private Kitchen will take place on September 14th & 15th at 8pm. The evening will include a multi-course Sichuan Soul Food dinner, bespoke cocktail, beer and wines for 500 CNY pp. You can also feel free to bring your own wines with no corkage fee.
